It's a small catalog to begin with, but it's a catalog! It's still hard to believe that I now have a business on the Web. Of course the real reality will set in when (and if) sales start coming through.

Is there anybody out there that would be willing to "...be caught dead in one of our shirts?" LOL

Actually, we've given out quite a few samples of our designs and have gotten very favorable reactions to them. I hope you find one that makes you smile and want to wear it... especially those to come. we've got a ton of 'em, folks!

Shame on me!

We have two more tee shirt designs printed as samples and two more due out this coming week. That makes five altogether, and there are 2-3 more in the wings that are almost ready for the printshop.

Steve and I will be finishing construction of our home page and catalog pages this coming week, so we hope to have product for sale as of May 1st.

As for our kite adventures, I have two new kites. The first is the "Skate" (photo to follow shortly) made by Focus Kite Designs; it's another zero-wind kite similar to my Urban Ninja. And second, but by far not last, a radio-controlled kite called the "Pyramid Racer." It's made by Premier RC, a division of Premier Kites. They have four designs, and this one is the aerobatic model (not for beginner RC pilots).

This video was shot after less than an hour of flight-time; I'm still getting used to it. Enjoy!

Well, we now have samples of our first design, "Moustache Rides." I'll be posting a photo shortly.

The weather hasn't been much for kite flying lately with all the rain... probably good timing since I've been busy helping a friend do a house remodel and one of the bridles on my Urban Ninja has worn out. The kite sits on it on the ground, so when you pull the kite into the air from concrete or blacktop, it wears on the "Z" bridle, as it is called... must contact Bob Storey for repairs (he's the Ninja expert and its builder).

Steve Hall gave me a project to work on: a radio-controlled kite he's had in the box for 6 years. It's a Voltair Cube, a single-cell box kite with an electric RC motor + battery and controls. Might have it flying by tomorrow!

We finally got a break in all this El Nino weather... sunshine and mild temps since yesterday. I flew the Urban Ninja tonight in the moonlight from about 6:30 until after 7 PM. It was, without a doubt, the best zero-wind conditions I’ve encountered outdoors with the Ninja. Long slow glides (some at least 125 ft away from me)… circling while maintaining altitude with slow, lazy whip turns… I actually got to laughing while flying (good thing there weren’t any neighbors out walking their dogs… for sure I’d have been gossiped about). Anyway, it was good fun… some awesome, single-line flying in the Moonlight!
